Pezeshkian: They Can’t Hit Our Nuclear Capability
WANA (Feb 13) – Today, Thursday, February 13, 2025, President Pezeshkian visited the Bushehr Shipbuilding Industries Complex and then attended a meeting with the province’s elite and intellectuals. A visit to the nuclear power plant site and a meeting of the provincial Planning and Development Council are among the president’s other plans.
During his fourth provincial visit, the president addressed the elite and intellectual community of Bushehr province, discussing the various threats posed to Iran’s nuclear facilities. He emphasized that while adversaries may have the capability to target these facilities, they are ultimately unable to eliminate Iran’s potential to develop new capabilities.
“They threaten to strike our #nuclear facilities—but it is the minds of our youth that build them. You can destroy the buildings, but you cannot destroy the minds that created them. Take down a hundred, and a thousand more will rise.” — Masoud Pezeshkian, President of #Iran pic.twitter.com/kvk4asqtF2

He also talked about contradictions that exist in the words of the U.S. President and criticized United State’s behavior and actions and said “We are not saying that we will not talk, but Trump cannot impose all sanctions on us and talk about talking. If he is a man of talk, why is he being cowardly?” Pezeshkian emphasized that blocking the essential needs of a country does not align with the U. S. so-called “willingness” to negotiate and comprise, and then added, “They are not looking for talk, they want us to be humiliated in front of them.”
This sentiment is expressed following the U.S. President’s remarks regarding the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA). In a recent interview with Fox News, he expressed optimism about the potential for reaching an agreement with Iran.
He stated, “I believe we can negotiate a deal with Iran that includes comprehensive monitoring and inspections of its nuclear program, ultimately ensuring the complete dismantling of any capability to develop nuclear weapons.”
